MECHATRONICS ACADEMY
The Mechatronics Academy is a merSETA-accredited blended learnership in an exclusive joint venture between ElectroMechanica and PolytechAfrica Institute of Technology. Mechatronics engineering is a synergistic combination of precision mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer design systems used to control and automate mechanical products with electrical signals. The Mechatronics Academy offers a full-time 4-year blended learning program that culminates in a red-sealed, trade-tested Mechatronic Technician certification at the NQF5 level. They also offer part-time courses that focus on Mechatronics modules, designed to assist employees and employers in participating in the training while still enjoying the full benefit of the accreditation.
