The Polar Gateway is the hardware manufactured by Polar Monitoring to push data from devices in the field to the Polar Portal.
The Gateway communicates with these field devices via RS485. The system is compatible with a multitude of brands, sensors and applications, allowing management of all these from one online cloud platform.
The LTE Gateway comes with a pre-installed sim card whose data and connectivity is managed automatically by Polar Monitoring.
The -G signifies that the sim will connect to networks in countries outside of South Africa, excluding Namibia and Zambia. Add -NAM or -ZAM to the part number for units supported in Namibia and Zambia
