Safety enclosures (IP55)

Safety enclosed switches provide emergency stop and safety breaking for any low voltage electric circuit. They break ON and OFF load and provide safety isolation.

Features:

• BS/EN06 E53 (electric orange)
• Polyester powder coated corrosion protection minimum thickness 70¼m
• Bottom mounted gland plate and 2 internal + 1 external earthing connection
• Shrouded upper terminals preventing inadvertent touching of incoming supply terminals
• Mechanical flag indicator (visible through triplex window) for indication of switch position status
• 2 sets terminated auxiliary contacts NO + NC mounted on the double locking system internally
• Supplied with 2 hooded pushbuttons on right side of enclosure: green 1 NO / red 2 NC contacts
• Metallic side mounted operating handle (red colour) padlockable in OFF position (3 padlocks)
• Equipped with a double locking system (door can also be padlocked closed in the OFF position)
• Zinc galvanised sheet metal enclosure 1.5mm thick, door mounted on chrome plated zamak hinges
• Visible breaking facility is provided through a triplex window (made of 2 layers 3mm thick safety glass)
