ElectroMechanica appointed the exclusive distributor of IDEM Safety Switches in SADC
01 February 2022ElectroMechanica (EM) has been appointed the exclusive authorised distributor of IDEM Safety Switches (IDEM). IDEM manufactures products specifically designed for the food & beverage, material handling and mining industries.
IDEM is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of machine safety devices for the global market, including the popular Guardian Line range. IDEM's extensive range of safety switches provide their customers with cost-effective, machine safety solutions. These plug-and-play solutions enable a safer working environment and reduce the downtime caused by mishaps on the production or processing line.
EM now stocks the following products from IDEM’s range: the Guardian Line series heavy duty rope pull safety switches, Guardian line series standard duty safety rope switches, Emergency stop stations, interlock switches, Conveyor belt alignments switches, and Python line series conveyor belt alignment switches. Robust stainless-steel versions of these products (tested to IP67 and IP69K safety and hygiene standards) are available for hygienic applications in food & beverage.

EM’s appointment is effective from 1 October 2021.
